RC / RM #16 (1.6mm) screw machined contacts are snap-in pin and sockets for harsh environment industrial connectors.
These contacts are suitable for UTS, UT0, UTG, UTL, UTP, SMS, MBG connector series composed of #16 cavities. This contact concept give you an high flexibility to switch from a connector series to another without the need to change the crimping tools, that means no additional investment and no need a new qualification.
Made from a high conductive copper alloy, RC / RM #16 (1.6mm) screw machined contacts are available with a wide range of plating to answer to all of you need in term of electrical performances: we propose gold, gold flash, tin over nickel plating options.
Heat-treated beryllium copper locking springs assure proper locking and alignment of contacts in the housing. RC socket contacts have a closed entry design to prevent probe damages. The features guarantee a high level of performances over the time.
